I Have a Crush on my TA and a Bad NEED for a Brownie

it's been several packs of cigarettes, and lots of running up and down pico blvd counting parking spaces, but i actually might be close to finishing this ridiculously unoriginal and rather dull "memo to the mayor".  laugh all you want.  i did.  when i realized that i might finish my degree and be paid to do exactly what i was doing today:  walking up and down the street with a notebook while my dog sat patiently in the car.

in other news:  the trout is dead and i am sad.  my dog is pouting and i can't make it better.

i haven't mentioned yet that xanax is the best thing to ever happen to me.  those of you who see me on a regular basis are probably pretty grateful for it too.  those of you reading this blog - not so much.  

thanks to everyone who wrote back or commented today.  now i know the blog is working.  i just have to figure out how to make sure that not just anybody can read it.  there are a lot of people out there that hate me.  mostly because i am full of hate and better at it than them.  gary and mary might have me beat, but only by a little...
